Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026.
Scope
This policy describes cookies and similar technologies used by Montenegro Studio at montenegrostudio.io. The studio is operated by Luis Guillermo Montenegro Palacio in Barranquilla, Colombia. Contact luis@montenegrostudio.io or +57 300 229 4816. The Privacy Policy explains the broader handling of personal information.
Cookies and external requests
Cookies store information in your browser. Similar technologies may store identifiers or preferences by other means. External services can also receive technical information when your browser connects to them, even without setting cookies.
Website functions
Webflow provides hosting and forms. Technologies supporting website security, requested functions and saved privacy choices are separate from analytics. Whether a technology is essential depends on its actual purpose, not simply on the identity of its provider.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand website visits and interactions and improve the website. Analytics can process cookie identifiers, pages visited, referral sources, browser and device information, and interaction events. Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and property-specific _ga_ cookies.
The current configuration does not display an initial analytics-choice banner. Analytics may load automatically unless you have a saved rejection or a supported browser privacy signal. This describes the technical configuration; it does not turn browsing into consent or remove a legal requirement to obtain prior consent where applicable.
Google Search Console supplies search-performance information. It is not a separate tracking tag placed on this website.
Managing studio analytics
Use Cookie settings to turn studio-controlled analytics off or on. A saved rejection is respected on subsequent visits while it remains available in the same browser. When analytics is already loaded, turning it off reloads the page to stop further tracking through that installation. Save any form text before changing the setting.
The current control also blocks studio analytics when it detects Global Privacy Control or the supported Do Not Track value. These controls do not remove information previously received by Google or automatically delete existing cookies. Email the studio with a personal-information request.
The preference tool is configured to remember choices for 180 days. This is a technical setting, not a universal legal deadline. Clearing storage, changing browser or device, or preference expiry can remove a saved rejection; under the current configuration, analytics may then resume automatically. You can also block cookies in browser settings, although this may affect other website functions.
Cal and other external services
The contact page automatically loads the embedded Cal scheduler. Your browser connects to Cal to display appointments, and booking information is handled by that service. Studio analytics settings do not control storage or tracking inside Cal's embedded frame. You may email the studio to arrange a call instead.
The site may load fonts and assets from external providers. These requests are not controlled by the studio's Analytics toggle. External providers have their own privacy information and service terms. This policy does not classify all third-party technologies as essential.
Duration and changes
Cookie lifetimes vary with provider configuration and browser behaviour. The 180-day preference setting does not describe Google Analytics, Cal or other provider retention. Contact us for information about a particular technology or record.
We will revise this policy as our configuration changes. A new notice or authorization will be required where applicable; a policy update by itself is not a substitute. Questions: luis@montenegrostudio.io.
